Mel- Introduction
My goal; Getting Fit Before Baby
So the time has come to get down to business. My goal this time around for weight loss is not only important for me to be healthy in general but also because we are planning another baby. As most of you know it's so important to have a healthy body to carry a healthy baby. I won't even get into all the reasons at this time but the list keeps going.
Working out has been a way of life for me for years so that is not an issue. My biggest problem is eating (what I'm eating, how much and what times I'm eating) I've done weight watchers, Atkins, South Beach, not eating at all, and the list goes on and on. WW was definitely one of my faves although not eating is good too if you don't mind feeling like fainting and being cranky all the time! (kidding kidding)
I recently got Hungry Girl 1-2-3 and am already in love. The recipes are endless in just this book alone (and I was informed that there are 6!) I will be sticking to the recipes in this book (the majority of the time) and talk about simple! This book takes all the excuses for eating out to "save time" and shoves them down a pair of fat jeans! So with that said, here is the beginning of my journey eating my way through the Hungry Girl books. I'm not even going to refer to what I'm doing as dieting. It would be an insult. Believe me once you take a peek at a few of these recipes you will forget that you are eating healthy. To help keep me on track and accountable I'm using the Spark People website.
